My submission to the sci-fi wallpaper contest. I doubt I'll win anything, but the prizes were too good not to at least try. There are some issues, it's not perfect, but I like the outcome anyway. I couldn't really come up with a title. I think the piece tells its own story. Anyway, I hope you like it. Most common resolutions are included: 1900x1200 1440x900 1600x1200 1280x1024 1024x768 It was originally made for widescreen, so the last three resolutions have black banding. I did not want to crop the piece. Feel free however to adjust the sizes, crop or whatever you would want to do to the wallpapers. As long as it is all for personal desktop wallpaper use that is.
I used some of my own stocks, but still credit for other stocks goes to: sxc.hu

The moment you see Arctic Expedition by *19-10, you will be amazed by the creativity, execution and quality of the artwork. The detailing is absolutely fantastic! Try it as your wallpaper and you will be in awe (Featured by ^archanN)
Pretty, I like that tall pillar of an iceberg there. And yeah, with so many good entries, chances of winning is hard, but considering the fact that there are 3 DD's up for grabs...anyone who dosn't even try is a fool

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
